Few would have thought that a HuffPost/YouGov poll would veer in favor of Sarah Palin, since the news outlet is usually more left-leaning in its commentary and published material. But in a recent article on the site it was revealed that 69 percent of those polled about Ted Cruz's Obamacare speech were actually in Sarah's camp of supporting it.
But there is a catch! That 69 percent were Republicans, not Democrats, according to HuffPost. The statistics shared actually listed 41 percent of the 1,000 people who participated in the survey as stating they thought it was an unnecessary stunt to pull right now. 32 percent felt it was a good idea, and no word on what the other 27 percent thought that would round out the 100 percent of participants.
Sarah Palin had some advice for Ted Cruz prior to his 21-hour lecture to the Senate about the ills of the Affordable Care Act, but that advice went unheeded. It's unfortunate that some of it was not followed—and that no one else is doing it for the American public. It might actually make a difference between a government shutdown and the defunding of Obamacare if just that one piece of advice from Palin had been followed by Cruz.
