If you asked Sarah Palin she would say that the "permanent political class in D.C." is just a bunch of "gutless and rudderless" individuals who need to wake up and start fighting Obamacare. And she is talking about her GOP congressional leaders, according to UPI.
The former presidential contender might have been name-calling to get the attention of those she was attacking, but she really wanted to offer them some important advice, which may not sit too well with them, since most are of the male persuasion. Palin says that what they need to do up there on capital hill is to "woman up." And she says that fighting the Affordable Care Act is one way to do that right now.
Asking someone to take your advice as you call them bad names isn't the best way to ensure that they will do what you want, of course. And if the fiery mother had her way she would likely challenge her fellow party's members to a basketball game, with the winner getting to decide if it will be a shutdown of government in exchange for dumping Obamacare.
Palin's most likely to win that game, still looking fit as a fiddle. But she will continue to be angered by her political peers most likely, since they have conceded each time it came down to a government shutdown versus holding out for defunding of Obamacare. And while the new health care agenda of the Obama administration certainly has its detractors, with Sarah Palin key among them, no one wants to see their family or loved ones lose income due to a government shutdown. But will they really want to have the government be their new doctor either?
