Fox News Channel announced on Friday that former presidential hopeful Herman Cain will be joining the network as a contributor. Cain will also be contributing to Fox Business Network. The radio host, columnist and business executive from Georgia, perhaps best known for his stint as president and CEO of Godfather Pizza, vied for the Republican presidential nomination in the last election, becoming a serious contender, before allegations of sexual misconduct which he denied, led to the suspension of his campaign.
Recently, Cain, who ended up endorsing Mitt Romney for the presidency, has advocated the formation of a conservative third party as an alternative to the Republican Party.
Brimming with personality, Cain should make an attractive addition to Fox News. He is likable, witty, and outspoken. Many will speculate as to whether he is intended to be a replacement for either Sarah Palin or Dick Morris, who both recently cut ties with Fox News.
According to MSN, Cain is looking forward to the job saying it is "an opportunity to be one more voice for intelligent thinking in America."
Other new additions at Fox News since the election include Dennis Kucinich and Scott Brown, reports Yahoo.
It will be interesting to see what kind of commentary Cain offers on the two channels. Although he tends to be frank in his remarks, it is doubtful that he will be as outrageous as some of the cable network's previous commentators.

The American labor market continued its steady recovery in October, as the latest data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics showed that the economy added 171,000 jobs last month. The nation’s unemployment rate is now 7.9 percent, and there is an unquestionable recovery taking place. Lost in the positive news, though, is that the unemployment rate for African-Americans rose nearly a full point to 14.3 percent, up from 13.4 percent in September.
The black unemployment rate has fallen from its Great Recession peak of 16.7 percent

Those are questions you should be asking yourself.
Thank you for showing me.
End of conversation
And?
"Thank you for showing me."
No problem. Anytime you need someone to show you the way to introspection, just let me know.
Thank you!
A perfect example the progressive looking to find racism around every turn!
lol
"the gay thingy doesnt bother the obummer bunch"
Even if it were true, a person's sexuality wouldn't bother rational people.
You can't get out of it that easy......You can now go some where else and keep turning over those rocks looking for racism.
Thank you!
A perfect example the progressive looking to find racism around every turn!"
lol, that might be true, if we weren't all painfully aware of Larry's track record.
I know you're sorry.
Na! He just suckered you in and you took the bait.
Racist...RACIST! LOL!
I think he was being totally honest...And if you had not been so bent on calling him a racist you could not have been drawn in.
But you were.....that how progressives are.
I'm not concerned with what you think. My comment was based on past experiences with Larry. Don't like it? Tough.
The poster with the ironic name of "Truth Always" is a perfect example of why conservatives are never concerned about candidates who are inarticulate and who have a penchant for saying stupid, ignorant things. I can understand why candidates like Rick Perry, Michelle Bachmann, Sarah Palin et al do not ring any alarm bells for them.
"Despite the peaceful nature of AFP’s counter-protest, several union members cut down their large tent with knives and box cutters. Mr. Tarver was inside the tent when it collapsed and approximately $400 worth of his hot dog stand equipment was damaged. The union protesters who cut the tent down further damaged Mr. Tarver’s remaining hot dog stand equipment while hurling racial epithets at him, calling him an “Uncle Tom†and a “n*****.â€"
"On Monday, the gorgeous, beautiful African-American actress Stacey Dash broke with the “Hollywood liberal cabal†and announced her support for Mitt Romney. She was immediately targeted for a slew of racist comments."
"MSNBC and CNBC contributor — and professed Charlie Crist admirer — Donny Deutsch used racially charged language on Monday night, smearing Republican senatorial candidate Marco Rubio as a “coconut.â€"
"The most recent such attack came from a liberal blogger who described tea party favorite Herman Cain as a “black garbage pail kid†and a “monkey†propped up to reaffirm white “superiority.â€"
"Mia Love Wikipedia page vandalized amid liberal racist attacks"
You call conservatives racist when your own kind exhibit extraordinary acts of racism against those whom they/you disagree with.........And you respond with "Your point?" I mean rather than even criticize these racial attacks let alone condemn them.......But then they are on your side right Canada....It's O.K. then right?
Politcally I just really disagree with un-reasonable conservatives, however if you are reasonable individual working towards solution then we can work on a compromise toward solutions. That is the state of politics today and the danger is the unwillness to compromise and move the ageda forward.
Not surprised at this news really. I think he will fit right in.
