For Inauguration 2013, President Obama's speech stresses the importance of the government in the free market, discusses the "shrinking few who do very well," how entitlement programs "strengthen us", how America will be responding to the "threat of Climate Change", despite the fact that there are some that "still deny the overwhelming judgment of science", reaffirmed his commitment to invest in "in the generation that will build its [America's] future" and how Americans must not "treat name-calling as reasoned debate". President Obama mentions the word "God" five times during his speech.
Will President Obama's speech resonate with Americans?

The full transcript of the speech can be found at the Talking Points Memo. Some of the words of the address surely foreshadow the ideas that the newly re-elected president of the United States will be pushing for his second term. For example, Americans can surely expect more government spending, the continual federal government resistance to entitlement reform, and certainly proposals for further green stimulus. It is difficult to accept that the president is preaching about name-calling, as he has done more of his "fair share" in that arena.
The excitement of Inauguration 2013 may give Americans a brief respite from the overwhelming economic problems faced by the United States.
Despite the urgent nature of the failing economy, it seems that real change with regard to "unsustainable" federal spending will be taking a back seat to the issues of gun control and immigration, which are "priorities" for the president, as confirmed by White House Senior Adviser David Plouffe, who spoke on Sunday political talk shows this weekend. Plouffe also confirmed that the debate over revenue (code for more taxes) is necessary, as he told George Stephanopoulos on ABC, "We are going to require some more revenues..." Buckle your seat belts!

The democrats see nothing wrong with tax and spend, spend and tax.
Because they will never have enough, no matter how much they take in its NEVER going to be enough for them.
And the sad thing is the sheeple won't see what the administration has done to this country until it is too late.

In fact it's not really a matter of need at all. Government always has shatshkes for which they yearn; and if they can manipulate the rest of us into paying for them, it's like they won a war or something.

Think of the times you or someone you know has had their credit limit raised on a credit card... did your balance go down or your debt recede as a result of you having access to more borrowed money? My guess is it did not. Same thing with Gov. More taxes does not mean it's debts get taken care of. More taxes just means more to spend.

Not enough want to buy into our debt anymore, so we're printing money to buy our own. Printing all that money hasn't helped the trade imbalance either, as was part of the plan to make our exports cheaper and imports more expensive to help the economy. The imbalance keeps going up negatively, and I believe at an 8 month high in percentages. Also in financial news there is growing concern about a global currency war as we continue to print/devalue the dollar, other countries are doing/contemplating the same to offset. I think Japan is to manipulate the Yen and making news, China to further play with theirs, rumors on the Euro, and so on it goes... not the best of news. In the mean time a lot of us continue to get our savings/retirement and income values pocket picked in what is basically a hidden tax they call quantitative easing...
I don't listen to the liar, or the phony words prepared for him by someone who writes flowery words and thinks socialism is the way this country needs to go,
and abandons everything this country was founded on.
I do think that it will be interesting to see if he follows up on the mentioned "climate control changes". Global warming is a serious problem, don't know what anyone can do about it, probably nothing, but at least he mentioned that there is a problem.
Lets get one thing right shall we, the earth has not warmed to any great extent for the last 16 years, oh you might think it has but one country America like one continent Australia does not make the case for Global warming. Just because a country experiences warmth now and again does not prove global warming.
India experiencing the worst cold for the last 70 odd years.
All of Europe experiencing large amounts of snowfall along with longer periods of coldness with record breaking temperature drops. With many people dying all over Europe due to the coldness 800 up to now, just like many people died last year because of the coldness 600 or more
China experiencing the worst snowfalls in over 70 years again with record temperature drops.
Israel experiencing the worst snowfalls in living memory.
And a prick of a President comes out with the crap he has come out with about global warming.
On ya bike you warmegedinists while you keep telling your lies I will keep on making you look like the charlatans and snake oil salesmen you are.
An airplane was about to crash; there were five passengers on board, but only four parachutes.
The first passenger said, "I am President Obama, the chosen one and the smartest man in America The world needs me, I can't afford to die." Therefore, he took the first parachute and left the plane.
The second passenger, Enda Kenny, said, "I am the Prime Minister of Ireland and I am the smartest man in Ireland's history, so Irish people don't want me to die." He took the second parachute and jumped out of the plane.
The third passenger, John Kerry, said, "I'm a Senator, and a decorated war hero from the Army of the United States of America." Therefore, he grabbed the parachute next to him and jumped.
The fourth passenger, ex-President George W. Bush, said to the fifth passenger, a 10-year-old schoolgirl, "I have lived a full life, and served my country the best I could. I will sacrifice my life and let you have the last parachute."
The little girl said, "That's okay, Mr. President. There's a parachute left for you, Americas smartest man took my schoolbag."
Another good one, Graham!
No; there is no problem. Weather changes! That is the nature of Weather, and that is why they call it "Whether!" Soon, we'll be playing Hockey on the Thames!
Where I am right now, it has been -26(F) for the past week. "Warming" my cold bubble ass..
There is a saying:
"No changes are permanent-
but 'CHANGE,' is..
And that is the Nature of the World.
Had you noticed, Renee? Every other sentence contained the word "collective," and every time he'd used the word "We," he wasn't talking about us...
I did not listen to The inauguration speech. I have heard more then enough of Obama's lies.
Thoroughly disgusted.
Good Morning Mama..."Kicks" here....Obama's voice irritates the heck out of me. Can we imagine the next four years? I can't. He wanted divide in this country....he got it! Never has a President to my knowledge, divided a country the way he has done. I can't believe the strategy he used and the media who has allowed it.. goin to Texas cuz I don't think they will put up with his mess.
