If she meets Mitt Romney, New York delegate Julia Rodriguez would "like to kill him!" The native Puerto Rican woman, living in New York for over 40 years, looked very festive in her patriotic garb for the Democratic National Convention (DNC). However, she didn't sound very patriotic when asked about the direction of the country, in fact, she sounded downright scary! Another reminder of the "tolerant left"? What will the Secret Service do, if anything?
Assuming the Secret Service follows their MO of late, there should be word anytime that they are investigating the woman. Less than a week ago, Gather reported on the Secret Service investigating a man who put up a billboard in his small Texas town. The billboard said "Pray for Obama" with the name and number of a bible verse, Psalms 109:8, along the bottom. The verse reads "Let his days be few; and let another take his office." (AKJV) The owner agreed to replace the wording with something like, "Vote for the American." The Secret Service hasn't disclosed the depth of their investigation of that case or the many other "billboard" cases across the country.
*The Blaze reports that Rodriguez told their reporter, "Romney will destroy this country completely! If I see him, I would like to kill him!" Most people would agree that the woman at the DNC was probably not talking about literally killing Mitt Romney anymore than the billboard guy had intended his sign to be a real threat. Has the Secret Service been this hypervigilant over President Obama for some reason or is this normal behavior for the presidential security detail? If it's standard operating procedure, everyone will hear word of the investigation of Rodriguez. If not, they have a few questions to answer for the conservative people of America.
"The mission of the United States Secret Service is to safeguard the nation's financial infrastructure and payment systems to preserve the integrity of the economy, and to protect national leaders, visiting heads of state and government, designated sites and National Special Security Events."
