A Ohio investigator is taking on President Obama about the validity of his Social Security card. Susan Daniels vetted thousands of Social Security numbers for clients over the years and she is not impressed with the story behind the president's card! The theory says that something is amiss with Obama's card number for several reasons, the primary one being that the first three numbers, 042, are a Connecticut Social Security card prefix only.
Daniels is so sure that the information she uncovered is solid proof of deception that she filed a suit against the Ohio Secretary of State, Jon Husted, with the Geauga County (Ohio) Common Pleas Court. The suit demands Obama be removed from the ballot until he can prove his number is valid. When the questions about the card first came out, Snopes.com, the number one rumor buster online, gave evidence to prove the story was untrue, well, part of the story. The part about the card's prefix is pretty flimsy. Then again, it might be less flimsy than the idea of a 15-year-old Barry Obama somehow knowing he might end up as president one day and predicting he'd need a fake card for some reason!
Once again, the number was found to have belonged to deceased person born in 1890. Unlike the original reports, Daniels doesn't mention the man who supposedly had that number while alive, Jean Paul Ludwig, though he is mentioned in the Snopes report. Other birthdays associated with the number are 8/4/61 and 4/8/61. It seems pointless to follow through on this case in court. It will get thrown out like every other case of the sort. But is there really something behind the number? There could be, but just like President Obama's college transcripts, the public will probably never know.
More on the story here.
