So long and good riddance, Rush Limbaugh! A CBS radio station in Philly is no longer interested in airing the former 'leader of the GOP' and has replaced him with a less insane program hosted by Michael Smerconish. "Forget the Anger, Reason is Back," is an excellent intro played by ElRushbo's replacement, because "reason" is the exact opposite of what Rush brought to his listeners.
You see, Rush Limbaugh made a mistake that was fatal for his career; he spent a non-consecutive nine hours ranting about Sandra Fluke. He called her names like "slut" and "prostitute." He demanded that she do porn to pay for her birth control. She was simply a woman who was educated enough, in the know enough, and brave enough to stand up in front of a group of aging male politicians to demand fairness in the legislation over a woman's reproductive health and rights.
So, Rush is a grade-A jackass, and that's to be the end of his career. Sure, this probably won't be the last you hear of Rush since even today he's rabble-rousing about Obama, calling him a "dictator." Nonetheless, less and less people pay attention to the loser, and he's lost nearly all of his ad sponsorship. He's a waste of space and total waste of airtime. Maybe Glenn Beck will consider hiring him, though. The two make an excellent couple.
