Nancy Pelosi apparently pardoned Karl Rove, unlike the Republicans, who are "playing politics" for holding Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt for failing to produce documents to the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee related to the ill-advised Operation Fast and Furious Program.
The House Minority Leader was vocal about her distaste for the Committee, led by committee chairman, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.). "This is just strictly political," she said. "It's just the irresponsibility of the Republicans. We want jobs. Why are they spending this time doing this?"
In an astounding statement, as reported by the Huffington Post, Pelosi declared, "I could have arrested Karl Rove on any given day," after some laughter, she continued, "I'm not kidding. There's a prison here in the Capitol ... If we had spotted him in the Capitol, we could have arrested him." When asked on what grounds Ms. Pelosi could have arrested Mr. Rove, she responded, "Oh, any number. But there were some specific ones for his being in contempt of Congress. But we didn't." How generous of Ms. Pelosi to allow a reprieve for the criminal Karl Rove.
If Karl Rove broke the law, he should go through the justice process. Why would Ms. Pelosi make such a crazy statement? Was it tongue-in-cheek? Was she trying to be funny? She was not done with her rant, however, and focused her attention on Darrell Issa, who she claimed to be a "loose cannon," which in her opinion, was putting it mildly.
Nancy Pelosi continued to say that holding someone in contempt is an "explosive device" and finished her startling comments with stating, "That's why I didn't arrest Karl Rove when I had the chance."
Ms. Pelosi was in the news earlier this month for her comments in favor of the government's failed green investment strategy. She said that the Republicans are "the ones who say they're risk takers...now all of a sudden, they're saying, 'don't take risks.'" Additionally, Ms. Pelosi lamented that Republicans do not believe in big government at all, which she declared is "not good for children and other living things," and speaking directly to Republicans, urged them to "take back your party!" It is a wonder that Ms. Pelosi has any credibility with the American people.

Pelosi = Let it pass, just like she let impeachment, and all the crimes pass.
No respect for either one of them.
That's their great diversionary tactics. The point is what Holder has done, not what she claims about Rove. That's how they operate and always have.
