Jeremiah Wright: Barack Didn't Renounce Islam

President Barack Obama never rejected Islam, Rev. Jeremiah Wright is saying, but the president was instead "coached" on the teachings of Jesus Christ.

By the way, what does it mean to be "coached" on Christianity? Either you've been formally baptized into the religion, or you haven't. The Trinity United pastor makes it sound as if Obama was feigning faith in Jesus for the sake of political expediency. The president would never do something like that, would he?

John McCain wouldn't address Obama's religion during the 2008 campaign, but it's a legitimate issue. After all, Muslims account for maybe 1.5 percent of the United States population, but perpetrate nearly all terrorist actions against the country.

Wright is obviously still hurting over his mistreatment by the president during the 2008 campaign. The Black Liberation Theology minister was a mentor and friend to the then-community organizer, and was humiliated when Obama denounced him.

According to Wright's interviews with Edward Klein, Obama didn't renounce his Muslim heritage, and was able to learn about Jesus with turning his back on his Islamic friends.

This is the perfect conspiracy theory for conservatives. They get to see him as a radical Muslim AND an angry black man.

Personally, since we know that Obama sat under Wright's teachings for years then we have to logically assume that Wright might know a bit more about Obama than the rest of us do. When it comes to Obama's actions and words and legislative agendas since coming to the White House it makes a lot of sense what Wright is saying. Lots of people are "wolves in sheep clothing," so Wright says that's what Obama is, obviously.

Wright thought he was supporting him 4 years ago, when he and Obama were close, but that was saying bad things about him--because it was revealing how he really is...He's just saying the same stuff now (and more).

If Obama were to be himself, it might hurt his election... I believe what Wright says about him... Some lefties on here are attacking the article and its writer but they dont seem to be attacking the racist Wright...If the shoe fits then obama needs to wear it..

His religious choices mean less to me than the charades do. To pretend to be a Christian in violation of his chosen faith would be very telling if it were true.

And Jane's right. He's pretty mercurial. We know almost nothing about this man. What we can tell for sure is, he makes lots of promises then doesn't keep them. In my mind that makes him a no-good-nick.

Also...if we believe Jeremiah Wright, he was asked to keep a low profile during the months leading up to the 2008 election. Obama, according to Wright said "Your problem is you have to tell the truth."

All of which indicates to me that the Liar in Chief is good at perverting the truth.

This post is a disgrace--and anyone who agrees with the sentiments of this post is a disgrace.

The ugly, vicious ignorance of those who oppose the President--because the President's background and his heritage are vastly different than those who identify American ideals via the Christian values of the Bible Belt--should be utterly and fully and completely condemned.

Jesus was not proud and is not proud of these people.

Instead, Jesus is fully and completely ashamed.

Jesus, himself, would judge harshly the thoughts of such ignorance.

This post is unintelligible. I can't actually tell what the author is trying to tell me. However, if the first commenters are right, he and they think that the most important thing about Obama is his alleged Muslim faith. If that's truly what they think, they're all fools.
