Pat Robertson voiced support for Rick Santorum's Satan speech Wednesday, and said a "secular, atheist dictatorship" is in the offing for America.
Considering President Barack Obama's blitzkrieg on Christian institutions, the 700 Club host's comments don't seem far-fetched. The televangelist said those who denounce Santorum are attempting to, "take God out of our society."
Obama has assumed the mantle of devout Christian, but his scant church visits are merely photo-ops. What are his true beliefs? His religious mentor, Jeremiah Wright, is a former Muslim who doesn't represent mainstream Christians.
Fortunately, Protestant employers are now joining the Catholic Church to oppose the ObamaCare contraception mandate. But, what is so awful about Santorum's Satan speech? He is a Catholic in name and in practice.
Robertson's 700 Club clip was uploaded onto YouTube at about noon Wednesday.
Candidates with deep religious feelings shouldn't be precluded from seeking high office. Militant secularists sees the state as the highest authority, while the country's founding fathers were deists. Robertson's rhetoric was too strong, but there is some truth in what he was expressing.

What a BIG baby!
Wow, considering that Bush the lesser was considered a "devout" Christian, you'd think that the bar would be set pretty low, but nope, Obama isn't the "right" type of Christian, not part of the club... All these rich WASPs can run around, dictating what God stands for and who isn't a Christian, and appearantly all these sheeple are ready to take the bait.
Obama was enforcing laws, sanctioned ultimately by the Supreme Court, when his administration announced the implementation of a provision that would offer contraceptive services to patients, in hospitals owned and operated by Christian organizations.
Obama's decision was not some secular, athiest attack, against the Catholic Church.
The propaganda from this matter is absurd.
The United States has millions of Christians--in name and in practice.
The country is hardly--but HARDLY--becoming a country of Satanic athiests.
The Santorum/700 Club assertion is paranoiac, sensationalized crap that is typical political and cultural McCarthyism--from a bygone era.
The religious zealots, in the US, were so intimidated by 9/11 that their own FEARS could eventually bring down the country.
It's TRUE!!!!
Prove me wrong.
Amen, etc.
With the news that Rick Santorum now has the Good Graces of Evangelist Pat Robertson bestowed upon him, to add to his Born Again Christians, Extremist Evangelicals and Nut Case Teapublicans support, I can see no way that he can loose the Republican nomination. It's on to fame, fortune and the Republican Convention.
As a fellow Jedi Warrior would say, Go Rick Go, The Nuts Are With You !!!
