Ron Paul is doing well in the race for the GOP Presidential nomination even though he's still in fourth place. He finished a close second behind Mitt Romney in Maine's caucus this weekend, but still could manage to win that one.
He could still win Maine because one county postponed their caucus. Washington county's caucus will be held on Saturday, February 18. It was postponed due to weather. One thing is for sure, Paul supporters are very...tenacious. If he rallies his supporters and they come out in full-force for him, he just might be able to pull off a win finally.
What kind of person supports Ron Paul so fervently? Well, for one, the guy that shot his daughter's laptop because she posted a snotty post on Facebook.
Police visited Tommy Jordan after the video of him shooting his daughter's laptop with a .45 pistol went viral. Perhaps he needs a psychiatric evaluation too because allegedly his daughter has only been living with him for 6 months. He and his ex-wife are divorced. Gee, I wonder why. Could it be his anger management issues? If he's shooting the daughter's laptop after 6 short months, what is going to happen to the 15-year-old before she reaches age 18?
The daughter was being a little brat, no disputing that. And Jordan has received much praise from parents across the nation for his actions. However, this guy is clearly a few cards short of a full deck, sort of like his choice for President. Both men may sound appealing but do you really want to live with either of them?

There's Santorum - who supports racial profiling.
There's Ron Paul - who wrote in his news letter how to kill a black youth and get a way with it.
There's Gingrich - his list of transgressions is too long but he's basically ethically void
And then there's Mitt Romney - the spoiled, rich kid who doesn't know what it means to have to decide which bill to not pay so his kids can eat or have any idea of what a budget is.
Great bunch, eh?
The kind who so passionately believe in his policies... several of which I agree with by the way... that they are willing to risk another 4 years of President Obama to get their point across.
That is a risk I am unwilling to take.
Vote with your head and not your heart.
I'm not sure what that says about you and your mentality.
But then if you can't judge people objectively maybe YOU need the psychiatric evaluation!
What kind of people support Obama? Many, not all of them, are ones that only know the argument racist, to include Obama himself and his blabber mouth talk queen, if you don't agree with him, or his policies, or you didn't vote for him.
What President has had a congressperson shout out "liar" during a state of the union address? What President has been continually called a Muslim and had a witch hunt after them to produce a birth certificate -- that still is not enough proof for them of his citizenship?
He's been attacked every step of the way. If it's not his race, what is it?
I want a President I can look up to, that is a good role model and that is smarter than me. Barack Obama is all of those things.
You mean young people that realize the baby boom generation has left them with an unsustainable government?
It is refreshing to see the young people of America waking up to the realization that more government is not the answer .
Perhaps less government is needed. I agree with Paul that we need to keep our nose out of other country's business. We should have never been in Iraq. But we need to maintain a relationship with other countries.
Ron Paul thinking we can go back to pre-1913 IS crazy. Unrealistic.
As for Ron Paul supporters, I don't consider myself one of them, but I do see many valid points in his arguments. The intent of this article was to demean those that do adamantly support him, and single out an obviously deranged father as an example. I'm sure one could find a nut bag Obama supporter and showcase him (or her) as the stereotypical Obama supporter.
IMO, mostly anti establishment young adults and anti federal government anarchist. Neither of which have ever stop to think nor to fully inform themselves as to what the institution of Mr. Paul's style of less federal government and more state government agenda would do to the welfare of our country.
15000000000000$ ious are a real problem. Endless war qualifies, too. And when your egalitarian genius of a president signs a bill allowing the military to capture and detain the citizenry of their own country without due process, you have the mother of all problems in the land of the free.
I don't believe Obama's endgame is to create a police state. I don't think he has much game at all. But if the presidency fell into malevolent hands, the mechanism is in place, thanks to Obama.
All of which was foreseen, foretold, warned of and railed against for years flowing into decades by RonPaul.
I'm not ignorant. I'm not racist. Neither is Ron Paul. But someone who doesn't even know me tarring me with that brush is a bigot.
