Michele Bachmann and her thousand-yard-stare certainly isn't popular, but that doesn't mean she isn't done trying. Too bad she's being labeled as a bigot by Ron Paul. Pot, meet kettle.
Ron Paul appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and made some pretty unsavory comments about Michele Bachmann. Apparently she hates muslims, which may be a popular opinion among the more culturally challenged voters, but it's disgusting nonetheless.
"She doesn't like Muslims. She hates Muslims. She hates them. She wants to go get them," he said when Jay Leno asked his opinion.
He also had some cutting words to say about Newt Gingrich, saying he should just run for House Speaker again. Hey, Ron Paul is a pretty funny guy and hes damn honest for a politician, but he isn't necessarily a white mushroom himself. It's believable that Michele Bachmann hates muslims, because, well, she's famously ultra right-wing to the point of thumping a bible against the rights of other American citizens.
However, Ron Paul has been accused of being a racist himself when it was brought up that some nasty things were posted about African Americans in a newsletter of his. He claims to not know anything about these racial comments, but who's to say he's even telling the truth?

Good god, at least pretend to have some journalistic integrity.
1. Grab a dictionary
2. Look up the definition of "commentary"
3. Facepalm.
p.s. I bet your books are awesome
(1. grab a dictionary
2. look up sarcasm)
Calling Obama a commie, pinko socialist, Kenyan Marxist Muslim is justified.

How caring is it to protect the rights of the individual
to die if they do not have or cannot afford health care or
do not have health insurance.
Thing is, with a President that is truly devoted to Constitutional Governance, the Chief Executive is not a virtual dictator, and the other Branches in particular need to roughly agree with what the President does. We have become used to Presidents that behave like it's their right to command and commit the nation in virtually any sense they feel like, and under that paradigm, yes, the personal opinions and desires of the holder of that office are critically important, and potentially catastrophically dangerous, to all or us, really.
But that ain't what a President is, within the Constitutional framework . . and unless Mr. Paul has been doing some pretty damn good acting for several decades, he's rather committed to that framework. Given the situation we find ourselves in, I am having no difficulty at all supporting someone I feel is exactly what my nation needs at this moment in history. It us utterly clear to me that it's now or never, for the Constitutional Republic, freedom, and the very rule of law itself.
This is a drop-dead easy choice for me to make. We need a Doctor in the House, right away quick, I say ; )
Don't believe me, the NPR recently did an article mentioning this. Google it.
In addition, the NAACP district Chief of the district where Ron had been congressmen gave an interview saying he is not racist and that some of those in power were using this to try to keep Ron from being elected back to the Congress because his unwillingness to deviate from the Constitution caused problems with their corporatist solutions. (He used different words, but the guy's name is Linder, and the interview is on youtube.)
But I'm sure you know better.
Although Bachmann diagrees with Islam it does not mean she hates Muslims. Would it be true to say that Chelsea Hoffman hates Christians?
Let's say for the sake of arguement that your above statement is true.
What difference does it make to you? You seem to have no problem with "religious" organizations openly antagonizing and attacking other religious organizations.
Mayor Declines Atheist Banner for Holiday Display
I'm an atheist who wants all form of religion out of my government - -that includes gay-hating religious zealots who plan on using their "power" for that form of hate-fueled governing. It's fortunate she doesn't have a snowball's chance at winning, so it doesn't matter ;)
I don't support Bachman and I do not know what she believes in regards to Islam, but I think when a religion or culture this toxic and ugly takes control of a religion, or country, such as the Taliban in Afghanistan and forbids the education of women, listening to music, in some cases any music except drum music and other inhuman laws - then I hate it to.
7 out of 10 mosques in the US are infiltrated by Wahabi money and personnel from Saudi Arabia, and it is a good bet that they are being used to promote radical Islam and probably terrorism. The US on the one side probably maintains agents to infiltrate and keep track of what is going on inside American mosques, but the Saudis at a national level have so much money invested and spread around in the US and distributed to our leaders they are bribing our government to allow them to do whatever they want when it comes to religion.
Then oddly enough they have the US government attacking Shiite countries and focusing on Iran, which certainly is a problem, but as we do this the Saudis are free to do what they want, and they are much worse in nature and in practice that Iran is.
This is not such a simple thing, and merely making it about Ron Paul and Bachman trivializes what is happening here.
Politifact's fact checking on Bachmann has revealed more inaccuracies in her statements than in any other Republican presidential candidate. It's not that she lies, it's just that she likes to make things up that sound truthy.
Oh, yah, lets not let the details get in the way of a good hack piece!
Right under the Obama hates white people proof.
I think hate is a strong word. I doubt that many people on gather that say stuff about Muslims have ever met or even know in general much about the people, their culture or their religion.
She is a politician if the zealots were against PB&J sandwiches she would speak out against them too.
If she were faced with a state-wide vote to have to keep her seat in congress there is no way she would win but lucky for her and unlucky for Minnesota she happens to represent the most conservative district in the state.
A specific example on gay rights. He doesn't believe there should be a law banning gay marriage. He doesn't believe it's the government's place to eve be involved in marriage. After all, it's a personal and religious issue.
I truly think if you listen to him with an open mind and forget party bias you'll hear a genuine guy trying to protect the people and speak the truth. I've been on both sides. I was a democrat most of my life. Then I realized that both parties are really the same. Nothing ever changes. Ron Paul is the only real person running for office.
It wouldn't surprise me if the statement were true it wouldn't really surprise me if it were on the other hand false.
But no matter what not because of the accusations or statements made by anyone else I am not supporting Bachman....
Right now I am undecided, but leaning towards Romney or Paul as a candidate, but keepin an open mind...
