An abortion bill passed by the House of Representatives has been dubbed the "Let Women Die" bill because of the complete disregard it shows for the life of women and rights.
H.R. 358, otherwise known as the "Protect Life Act," will make it legal for a doctor to refuse abortion services to a woman, even if it's an emergency and the woman could die without the service. This gives doctors the ability to disregard the oath they all take when pursuing the medical profession. This gives doctors the right to let women die, all for the sake of their beliefs in archaic mythology and political ideals.
The United States of America is on a slippery slope, and this slope is heading backwards in time when women were forced to resort to back-alley abortions. The people on the far right will not be happy until women go back to the days of dying with coat hangers jammed inside of them in dingy motel rooms due to the lack of healthcare needed.
Meanwhile, conservative political pundits are disappointed that their attacks on women's rights aren't getting as much attention as the Occupy Wall Street protests. Huh, isn't that something? These so called conservatives took over the House with promises of fiscal responsibility, and have done nothing but ignore the dwindinling economy and lack of employment while unleasing brutal attacks on the freedoms and bodies of American women. Where are their priorities? In the wombs of American citizens or the stability of this nation? It's obvious what the answer is to that one, guys.
Fortunately, this bill has to go through the Senate before it can amount to anything. Good luck with that.

Ask that question if and when your body, as a man, is under attack by legislation. It's not, so you would never understand.
If the government tried to gain ownership over your testicles, since they are used to reproduce, I have a feeling you'd say differently.
Have you personally read H.R. 358E.H. (The actual text of the Bill that passed the House)?
If you have NOT, here is the link: H.R. 358 E.H.
Then perhaps we can have an informed/intellectual discussion of what the Bill DOES and DOES NOT DO - for or against Women's Rights.
You may presume, without knowledge, what you want about others. You may not recall that there have been situations where men's friends and neighbors have given them no choice short of violating the law to give their lives (by the 10s of thousands) let alone their testicles based on the will of the government and those who die still had to face horrors that they make movies about. You may want to temper your view that only woman have been at risk based on others choices.
Are you suggesting that of the millions of abortion that have been performed in the US that all were to save the life of the woman, or were they all the victims of rape or incest? Are you suggesting that all doctors would refuse to perform abortions if this law were passed?
If it is a woman choice then why should she not allow others to have a choice?
Huh??????????
Section 2(c) Limitation on Abortion Funding-
‘(1) IN GENERAL- No funds authorized or appropriated by this Act (or an amendment made by this Act), including credits applied toward qualified health plans under section 36B of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 or cost-sharing reductions under section 1402 of this Act, may be used to pay for any abortion or to cover any part of the costs of any health plan that includes coverage of abortion, except--
‘(A) if the pregnancy is the result of an act of rape or incest; or
‘(B) in the case where a pregnant female suffers from a physical disorder, physical injury, or physical illness that would, as certified by a physician, place the female in danger of death unless an abortion is performed, including a life-endangering physical condition caused by or arising from the pregnancy itself.
