A Bloomberg poll released Friday showed 34 percent of the 997 adults surveyed believe the U.S. would be superior under a Hillary Clinton administration. This survey piggy-backs recent research, which discovered a 68 percent approval rating for the former first lady amongst Americans.
Although Barack Obama conquered the polls in 2008, many wonder if Clinton would be victorious should she choose to run again in the 2012 presidential election. Things are certainly looking grim for the current president, who announced several months ago he would run for re-election. Obama's job approval ratings hit an all-time low this month, at 45 percent, and 43 percent of the Bloomberg respondents indicated they would definitely vote for someone else in this time around.
To the current president's defense (and the winner of the 2012 election, whomever it may be), the economy was in shambles long before 2008. It's going to take more than a few years for any administration to truly help repair the damage brought forth by the attacks ten years ago.
