Baltimore, Maryland, mayoral hopeful Otis Rolley stepped up his game Wednesday when he enlisted the help of the famed comedian and activist, Bill Cosby, with this campaign.
Rolley appeared with Cosby at a West Baltimore senior living apartment complex and let the comedian do what he does best -- crack jokes with the building's residents. The two then went door to door in Loch Raven hoping to gain support, and Cosby even gave a shout out to Rolley at a crowded Coppin State University rally.
Rolley, considered less favorable among potential voters than the forerunner candidate, current Mayer Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, met Cosby through a mutual friend and hoped his acquaintance would help with approval ratings. With decision day looming, Rolley claims the next few days will consist of a whirlwind of door-knocking and calling residents in an attempt to secure their votes...and likely some finger crossing that Cosby was the 'Hail Mary' he needed to pull ahead.
