President Obama's 'jobs bus tour' will start on August 15. Obama will be traveling throughout the Midwest. The bus tour's mission will be focusing on economic growth and job creation. One can only wish the president the best. Plus, this is a good time for him to bolster his approval rating.
Obama had stated that once Congress returns to work, he would make job creation his main focus. The debt ceiling debate had been hindering Congress' ability to deal with other, equally significant issues. Jobs or lack there of jobs and economic growth are both truly important.
It looks like Barack is in the right frame of mind. Hopefully, what Obama says will be backed up by what he does. A 'jobs bus tour' will help his lowered approval numbers but if he doesn't follow through with what he says; he can expect to see those numbers drop even more. That's something politicians have learned.
