Dick Cheney's memoir will be published on August 30. The book titled In My Time: A Personal and Political Memoir will detail his life's event and most importantly will detail his time as vice president under George W. Bush. There has been a lot of tongues wagging about how much or how little Cheney's memoir will actually divulge.
Remember how George W. Bush's own memoir, Decision Points, had stated that he'd considered firing Dick Cheney as vice president? Well, one has to wonder what juicy tidbits Cheney's memoir will reveal about his own thoughts of how Bush ran America. Perhaps he'll even write that he'd wished he could have fired Bush. Who knows?
Dick's daughter, Liz stated, "I don't think there will be much question on where he stands on the important issues." She also stated that the "Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks" are definitely going to "be a topic of the book" since it explains why Cheney was so aggressive on foreign policy during his term as vice president. That actually explains a lot. There were several times when people wondered about who was really running the show. Some speculated that Dick was the one who was actually pulling the strings of the White House. Now, you'll be able to find out if that was true or not.
