Donald Trump Booed at White House Correspondants Dinner then President Rips Him

everyone may give him a hard time and even say he is a joke...but he is a 7 billion dollar joke that brings up topics that no one else is talking about.

One of which is the massive reaming we are allowing from China. We ALLOW them to totally screw us year after year and at the same time borrowing trillions....with interest.

It is stupid what we have done. I am glad he is bringing up the things no one else does.

Gawd, the Donald is PART of the China problem he complains about. Honestly, he has MORE Chinese made stuff in his buildings than Walmart.

If you know much about the trade deficit with China as well as their intentional inflated Yen (during trade negotiations only) to manipulate the agreement in their best interest... you would agree with that part of what he says.

Trump said from the beginning that he bought from China because he is a businessman. Your job is profit and it is more profitable to buy over there. He also said he would rather buy from here because the quality is better but with that much of a price difference, he couldnt justify it. He is doing his job as a businessman...not a hypocrite. We need to either balance the deficit or put a tax on all incoming goods to balance the prices. We'll start to manufacture again and we'll have tons more jobs.

Many of the Donald's companies are entwined financially with China businesses. And he is just a buffoon who would get our country in serious trouble with the rest of the world. He is a fool if he thinks he can pass the stink test when he has to provide the truth about his life and finances to his public if he were to become a public figure. And it was proven in this roast that Trump is the J-O-K-E since he obviously has no sense of humor. He is crass, rude, ill-informed and close-minded. That does not sound like an unbiased news media, but then again I don't believe them when they claim to be unbiased. This was just more of the supposedly independent press acting out their propaganda rather than putting it in writing.

reporters are humans. In this setting, they were not acting in their official capacity as members of the media- they were giving their true opinions. They were expressing their displeasure at conduct that Bob Schieffer described recently as racist- as the Donald applied standards of proof to Obama that he never applied to anyone else.

So deep in your heart, someone who has true feelings of dislike for Trump will be able to be unbiased when and if Trump announces that he would be a candidate? Really?

For someone who claimed there would be transparency in the White House Obama has an awful lot of things he hasn't released.

Now if you want to argue tht Bob Schieffer is a crazy left winger, feel free. But I am just going to laugh if you take that view.

My view is now Donald Trump is considered a joke but in the beginning he was for Obama and bashing Bush... Now, since he has turned away from Obama he is a joke..... I dont think I would be making fun of someone who has as much money as he does... When you have money, comes power, when you have power, you have clout.. Its hard to tell where he will go with all of this..
Obama, brings alot of the racism and crude remarks to the public, like a child would.. If they bring a knife , bring a gun... If the republicans dont want to come along, they can sit at the back of the bus... If this isnt childish then what is... I would be embarrassed if a Republcian or anyon else said, crap such as this... For an educated man( and this is questionable) you would think that he would have more class than this...
As far as the reporters who booed Trump.. Everyone knows that the media for the most part is ALL Liberal so what do you expect.. If I were the Trump, I would buy up these journals or magazines that employ those that booed and fire everyone last one of them.. THey are like Obama not very professional.... Obama is just mad at Trump because he is showing Obama for what he is... A glory hog... He wants to be in front of the cameras as much as he can, even though he only knows how to blame Bush or the conservatives, the Republicans etc... anyone but himself.. he has made the economy much worse than it needed to be...
Instead of him trying to make fun of Trump or others, he needs to be taking the presidency more serious... Gas prices out of control, food going up, his Obama care is a failure( my doctor bills have gone sky high now), we still need jobs, he needs to get a grip on the illegals and crime in this country... Libya, Iraq, and Afghanistan.... are just a few important issues, but instead he is out trying to win a popularity contest.. Real mature obama and followers.. by the way, Texas Rocks, wikipedia says that the Donald is probably worth 2 to 3 billion, not the 7 billion which you put out. and he has been no stranger to bankruptcy, which does not motivate me to put his name into the Presidential contest. I don't care how many time the Donald goes bankrupt, but I don't want the USA to go bankrupt, and it appears to me that the Donald conceives the "President" gig as just another CEO job- which it ain't.

Obama took the reigns of an economy that Bush (personally) drunk-drove to the ground. Eight years of mismanagement cannot be undoe in just 3 years.

Obama is an economic idiot who has tripled the rate of deficit we had under GWB and is trying to step on the gas pedal. His failed stimulus plan was nothing more than a slush fund for his union buddies and political backers.
Since BHO took office the price of gas has more than doubled, unemployment has skyrocketed, the deficit has exploded, our standing around the world has suffered and inflation is in the picture again. Only an economic ignoramus or a socialist would implement them.

This was not a bipartisan dinner roast of the president or a celebration for journalism but a deliberately conceived attack on his opponent’s and anyone in disagreement with their ideology. It should be classified as a political rally for the democrats rather than a bipartisan dinner in turn raising the legality of the event.

Ok. Objectively speaking. Trump brought up the 'issue' of Obama's birth certificate, claiming it didn't exist. Speculating that, if it did, it had something shameful on it. He repeatedly suggested, in making these speculations and suggestions, that our lawfully elected President is a gigantic swindle. This is obscene in its own right. All those who took similar stands about the legitimacy of President Bush's presidency also called into question the underlying principles inherent in our Republic. Some policies of both President's I may personally disagree with, but I respect that both men were duly elected and were the choice of America.

The media consists of people. Those people have better access to information than any of us. Doesn't that tell anyone other than me something if they do happen to be leftward leaning? If they have better access to information (they should as they go out and look for it) and they lean toward the left... maybe they know something I don't. But that's a separate issue.

As people, they will have bias. That is unavoidable. Especially when a person comes onto the scene questioning the evidence presented in issues they already investigated and were satisfied with. The Donald came into the situation, saw an opportunity for self-aggrandizement, probably never expecting the actual certificate to ever be released, and pushed an issue that these same reporters thought that they had resolved. Of course those reporters are going to be upset at him. He was a 'Johnny come lately' at best and was questioning their personal ethics at worst. That tends to make people want to boo you. Politics aside.

Ajat. Diversity at the NY Times and many other media outlets means they have white liberals, black liberals, Asian liberals, Hispanic liberals, gay liberals, lesbian liberals, transgender liberals and a multitude of other liberals in their newsrooms. Diversity of thought and ideology are anathema to their way of thinking.

Incidents like this may force Trumps hand. The more there are, the more likely Trump may run. Will he win? No way. So, if he runs, he will torpedo the Republican chances of regaining the White House. Is that what Obama is trying to do? Force Trump to run so Obama can win re-election?

Partially, I think. Goad him into a nuanced political fight for which he is unprepared. Trump is used to being able to say whatever he wants about his enemies and have those words have an effect. Against Obama, he'll be punching at the ocean and just sinking himself deeper. His flailing attacks will make him look more and more like a buffoon and will alienate him from the professionals who have already done all the research on the subjects he's trying to throw at Obama. He'll lose badly.

Prior to the dinner, I thought his ego would run -- now I am just waiting to see which way that ego goes, was it deflated? or will it double down again?

Trump & his "birther" believers are fools, plain & simple.Do they not think that the Congress & other powers that be did extensive research on Obama's birth place? That is part of the entire campaign process. George W led us down the path of Bankruptcy, Trump knows the way all too well.
