President Obama’s youth town hall meeting is schedule for Oct. 14 and will be broadcast live on BET, TR3s, MTV, MTVu, CMT and Centric. The youth town hall meeting is creating a lot of buzz right now.
Boston.com states that the Obama youth town hall meeting is meant to re-inspire the “youth vote†for Democrats. The live broadcast will last for an hour and will begin at 4pm EST. Throughout the youth town hall meeting; President Obama will field questions from 250 youths in the audience as well as questions via Twitter.
According to Right Pundits.com, more and more Democrats are in need of support at the polls as November 2nd approaches. Current polls show that only 53% of eligible voters under 29 have committed to voting. In an earlier interview, Obama said, “It is inexcusable for any Democrat or progressive right now to stand on the sidelines this midterm election. If everybody who fought for change in 2008 shows up to vote in 2010, we will win. We will win. The polls say the same thing. We will win.â€
MTV News reports that Obama’s youth town hall meeting has been dubbed “A Conversation With President Obama.†The event will be hosted by three people: “MTV's Sway Calloway, BET's April Woodard and CMT's Katie Cook.†The “Obama youth town hall†meeting was produced by BET News and MTV News.
It will be interesting to see President Obama’s answers during the youth town hall meeting. Hopefully he will inspire America’s youth to vote. The facts are that the youth vote is extremely valuable but what’s more valuable is an informed vote. If an uninformed voter (young or old) took to the polls and voted just for the sake of voting than that wasted vote is worst than no vote at all.

Obama's 244 accomplishments is the good news that will be conveyed to this audience.
He's trying to go back and revive his base, but they are realizing he was all talk.
It's too stage-managed. It's too transparently trying to go back to heady campaign days ... which of course is a very unlikely outcome.
I would think Obama and all those putting this together, know that ... but they have so little choice. They 'can't just sit there'. They have to 'do something', even if it's wrong/dumb.
They need to go through the motions, of making a response, an effort. Their real goal here isn't to reach voters, but to protect themselves, provide themselves with cover - so their own constituency can't glare openly at them and accuse; "You didn't even try!"
So he's dutifully headed out onto the stage to 'try' ... like the political steer that he has become.
last time he was accused of indoctrinating kids.
