The "16 Wishes" Disney movie made its official premiere on Friday June 25th on the Disney channel. Abby Jensen is celebrating her sixteenth birthday and somehow manages to get sixteen wishes granted. Wouldn't that be cool if we all got that for our Sweet Sixteen? You could have a car, popularity, money, the freedom to do what you wanted. In Abby's case she goes for many of those popular wishes, but makes one wish she regrets.
"16 Wishes" has the clever tag line of "Be careful what you wish for." That's because you just might get it, and realize it's not quite what you "wished it would be." Abby makes the mistake of wishing to be treated like an adult. That wish completely flips her life upside down!Â
Debby Ryan from "The Suite Life on Deck" claims the starring role as Abby Jensen in this fun Disney Channel original film. You can watch the official TV movie trailer below on YouTube video. "16 Wishes" will air again on the Disney Channel Sunday night from 9PM EST until 10:40PM EST, and Monday from 12:00-1:40PM EST. It'll be on the 4th of July as well at 5:45PM EST, so make sure to set the DVR!
