Mike Vanderboegh, Alabama survivalist and former militia boss, posted the call for action Friday on his blog, “Sipsey Street Irregulars.” Referring to the health care reform bill as “Nancy Pelosi’s Intolerable Act,” he told followers to send a message to Democrats.
“We can break their windows,” he said. “Break them NOW. And if we do a proper job, if we break the windows of hundreds, thousands, of Democrat party headquarters across this country, we might just wake up enough of them to make defending ourselves at the muzzle of a rifle unnecessary.”
Free speech is one thing, but when you call for a campaign of organized vandalism against a political party and there are some people at various locations within the USA who are acting on that suggestion (five broken windows counted at Dem party offices nationwide this week) , shouldn't law enforcement get interested in you? Talk is one thing, but talk that requests ACTION is something else.
I recall a certain event in Germany in the 1930s that helped usher in the rule of the Nazi party: they called it Kristalnacht.

Chris! Did you read my earlier reference to the fascists?
All I have to say is, I'm a bleeding heart liberal and I shoot expert.
I've seen enough snivling cowardly males(cuz the sure aren't men) who can't make it in the world and blame everyone else for their lack of ability.
But she is referring to the 2010 election when she used the word "reload", not targeted assassinations, right?
I have been against the health care bill from the beginning but it has been passed. Now is the time to give the president respect for being our leader. If there is an action that needs to happen it prayer. Our country and it's leaders need lots and lots of prayer.
This vandalism stuff is hopefully going to stay on the fringes. To be fair, most Republicans are steering clear of advocating actual violence, though for me there is a little too much talk of we just crossed over into tyranny, the USA is doomed, yadda yadda. We are going to have a very active and passionate 2010 Congressional election cycle, that's for sure.
I was annoyed at the "Baby Killer" thing from Texas Republican Congressman Neugebauer. We started a new tradition with Joe WIlson's "You Lie" thing. It's called "fundraising by yelling something really tacky when in the same room with the current president." This has gotten really old with me already, but it looks like we are going to be stuck with this FOREVER now, because it is probably going to become a great way to fundraise.
