Without following up on Babs' links, I can tell you that Barack Obama is/was/always-will-be eligible to be President of the United States of America.  ALL that is required to make a person a "natural-born citizen" is that one parent be an American Citizen.  It makes NO freakin' difference WHERE that person was born, just that he/she was born of AN American citizen parent.

By the same token, it makes no difference WHAT the nationality of a person's parents might be.  So long as a person is born ON American soil, that person is ALSO an American citizen.  Either way, a Presidency is not out of the question.

Why bother trying?  These people are NEVER going to accept that they're wrong.  They're going to continue to be willfully ignorant which means they will REMAIN ignorant.

Blind, deaf, & ignorant, is not the way to go through life. "CITIZEN" & "NATURAL BORN CITIZEN" are not the same classification. Our Founding Fathers were Citizens but they were not Natural Born Citizens. They were born British Citizens just like Obama was. They had to add "unless you are a Citizen at the time of the adoption of this Constitution" to the Constitution in order for them to be able to become President 222 years ago. Obama was not alive to be a Citizen before the Constitution was adopted 222 years ago, so he would have to be a Natural Born Citizen to be President today, and this he can not be because like our founding fathers he was born a British Citizen. Wishing it was does not make it so. Obama is not eligible to hold the office of President.

We drive through or past neighborhoods every day where thousands of American children and their families are dying slow, painful deaths for want of food and medicine that could easily be supplied if our citizens obeyed  their Human Nature instead of the Inhuman Unnatural agendas that consign our resources towards mass murder enabled by our 'leaders' who are whores for the Power Elite... 

Be sure of this Truth: At the moment of our Death, each of us will be presented with a view of our lives,  a summary of everything we have done and evereything we have left undone. It was brought by a lawyer from new Jersey, Leo Donofrio, who also calimed that nieth John MCain nor Roger Calero, the Socialist Worker's Party presidential candidate were Natural Born Citizens. Now in plain simple English, the Supreme Court recognizes the electronic short form of birth certificates in several states, such as Hawaii, as valid and letimate. Clearly, the president is a natural born cictizens, where he spent part of his childhood and what is his ethnic background are issues that are nonsense and meaningless. Bobby Jindal was born in Louisiana of two parents who were NOT American citizens at the time.  I wonder how the birther crazies view his candidacy?

At the moment of his birth if either one of his parents were not Full American Citizens, he is not a Natural Born American and cannot runfor nor hold the office of POTUS. Ali if this helps, even though it was discussed in the Senate, McCain is also not Constitutionally eligible to the office of POTUS! He was not born on American soil. There was a reason our founding fathers added the Natural Born requirement. Just Google "John Jay's letter to George Washington, Natural Born" and you will get a wealth of info. Our President to replace the current usurper has to be loyal to the true American Citizens, and have no foreign ties or associations. That is what our founding fathers would expect of US. That is why the Constitution reads as it does.

I have to disagree on one point with you Steve. 

It's my understanding that US military bases on foriegn soil are considered US territory.  This may even include US embassies.  Children born to military families at US military hosipitals are considered natural born citizens.  Please correct me if I am wrong.

It's not that I am trying to defend McCain.  I didn't even vote for him.  In fact he just as well as go the route of Arlen Specter as far as I am concerned.

Lee, the truth is out there, lots and lots of opinions but very few confirmed facts. What I have found is that the location of McCains birth was not on base and was at a local hospital. This makes it for sure not American Soil. Even if he was born on base there is the question if that would be considered American soil. I have not really dove into the McCain issue like I should because I feel it is a moot point now. But if his name should ever be up for President or Vice President we should vett him slowly and in detail. I hope that after the Barry Soetoro incident we will vett with a more purposeful understanding of what Natural Born means.
