Once again, Limbaugh is spewing his lies, claiming that $4.19 billion of the stimulus package is going to ACORN. This lie is now circulating, thanks to people who aren't willing to research something before they send it on (my brother included).

Thank you Carla for providing the link to Media Matters on this. LIES, once told are extremely difficult to rebut.
But as far as the stimulus bill goes, I agree with the GOP vote! I don't agree with the yes vote, I would have voted No on it too, ammend it change it take some of the crap out of it the way it stands and I'll consider it, but the way it stands Nope, don't agree with it.
We should be looking to build the economy in other ways than by going further into debt.
And I told Barry Soetoro just that
I've emailed him every day that he has been in office so far, and I'm sure I can find something to tell him every day that he remains in office...........

What I don't understand is the how and why behind Rush becoming the God-Head of Republican conservatives. He bad mouths soldiers and presidents while vilifying others that bad mouth soldiers and presidents.
When did vicious hypocrisy become a leading Conservative and Republican principle?
This fits in the category I've been taught about since childhood, where you had to simply "consider the source!" Otherwise one can become so upset at the lies that it is unhealthy.
I have a simple common sense solution for those opposed to Barack Obama's stimulus plan.
I urge all those in Congress who voted against the stimulus plan to tell President Obama that they don't want one cent spent in their congressional districts.
Then Barack Obama can overhaul the plan and reduce it accordingly. The request must be put in writing without any loopholes in it to have it reinstated.
Republicans must stick to their principles. This would send a strong message to their base that they are working in their best interests.
