I agree with what Obama said in one of his debates. The negative campaigning by McCain/Palin says a lot more about them then it does about him.

I live in Western Pa and haven't seen any flyers either.
Both sides do this to each other in every election, it's not right but it is the way it is. Wouldn't it be better if no one turned out to vote and the American people demanded a better way to elect the president? Why waste those billions on ads and the campaigns when OUR AMERICAN people are losing jobs, starving, getting their homes reposessed as well as their cars. It's a travesty, all of it.

It's all lies really. We never hear the real truth. Did you ever work in management? The 'regular' folks never hear what is truly going on behind those closed doors. The American people are no exception.
I've gotten at least 5 calls a day up until 8:30pm from the candidates for the last few days.
We can't stop what others say about each other it is wrong I agree but it is what it is.

Having a higher vision is more than about government or business. It is about our ethics and values and not lying to achieve our own selfish aims.

Unfortunately you are probably right. I have prayed for a fair election but I don't know if that is possible. They are desperate to maintain control. I will keep praying...

How I would like to tell him and Palin, face to face, what I think of them and their vicious campaign. He was so lucky to have a black man with a muslim name, a tie to some grass -root efforts (although innocent), and a few other close encounters as a competitor. But then, he'd dig up crap on who-ever he had. I'm glad Hilary escaped his wrath. Wonder if she had other stuff on him. Might have been interesting to find out.

I had only a smidgeon of respect for him going into this campaign. I now have none.

Some people will do anything to win. I don't believe that you can change a person's basic personality. What we have been seeing is, perhaps, the REAL John McCain. Looking back at his history is a good indication that he, being as intelligent as they say he is, has successfully pulled the wool over a lot of eyes. His type of personality can do that, and do it cleverly, at least for a while.

Yes, it has become obvious that he is willing to do whatever he has to do to win--including lying.
