Jerry Falwell said the same thing about 911 as Jeremiah Wright and so did Pat Robertson but some how that was ok. If it were possible for God to be embarresed I am sure he would be embarrised by these people who claim to speak for him. If Obama loosed because of a non-issue then he deserves to loose. And if people vote against him just because of this they should not be allowed to vote or beget children.

If Obama becomes president, racism will still exist (it has always existed and always will, its a human condition). People are calling Bush names left and right, he's been called a chimp. Imagine if someone said that about Barack if he was president! OH, THATS RACIST!!! Any name Obama gets called will get turned into a racist comment. McCain is old, he can call almost anyone a boy or girl, if he called Obama a boy, it'd be racist. If he called Bush a boy, then he's be seen as saying bush is young and out of touch or something. Racism is only getting exacerbated by this race, and will continue even if he gets elected.

I was surprised how buffoonish his comments sounded. Ironically, Wright seemed very pleased by his remarks. He strutted like a peacock w/ out a clue on how bad he sounded.
Obama will continue to try to distance himself from Wright; he will make several speeches over the next couple weeks, attempting to show "proof" that he does not believe in "Black Liberation Theology". In 2 to 3 weeks Wright will make a speech, indicating how hurt and offended he is by Obama recent comments, than he will quickly fade away (likely another long vacation).
This is the clean break the media is asking Obama for. The media will give it a couple more weeks, if Wright fades from the weakened mind of the majority, Obama will continue to be their golden boy, if the bad taste of Wright remains in the mouth of the majority, there will be wholesale defection by the media, to the Clinton campaign. They of course will have wanted her to win all along.
Obama has a pretty good lock on the nomination, but is failing in polls against McCain. Barak needs to bury this controversy and regain his "Golden Boy" status with the media before June, when Howard Dean will put pressure on He or Clinton to drop out of the race. Obama must shed his "Racism" anchor before the general election is at stake or he stands no chance.
Obama said in his speech yesterday that "this is not the man I've known for 20 years" (or something to that effect). Here's a question - can a man suddenly change over the course of a week/day? Unless Wright has been a very good actor for the past 20 years, I seriously doubt Obama didn't know about this side of his reverend.

Wright, however, was more than carried away - he launched himself into the crazy ether of conspiracy nuts.
What we don't know is plenty. Do you suppose Obama tried to reason with his pastor before he finally severed their relationship? Wright does not seem like a reasonable human being.
What remains for me is the fact that Barak Obama believes in "Black Liberation Theology".
One of its leading theologians describes "Black Liberation Theology" as this:
"Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill Gods who do not belong to the black community ... Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love." James Cohn
Barak is an effective speech maker, and has proved to be a cleaver politician, but he's never revealed anything about himself of any substance. Maybe Barak doesn't want us to know him because he will: "accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy"
On March 24th in Forbs Magazine, Cohn changed his tune drastically. Cohn now claims (for obvious political reasons):
"it grew out of the theology of Martin Luther King"
Far more accurately, when Cohn had a personal crisis of faith, he turned to the teachings of Malcolm X, and Christianized them. Cohn and believers of "Black Liberation Theology" are following the Marxist/Islamic foundation set down by Malcolm X, with the sharp corners knocked off.

I think this is a big show, a build up to the divorce. The divorce will be final when Wright verbally divorces himself from Obama too. Then the media plays their waiting game, they will need to assess the effectiveness of the divorce before they re-marry their "Golden Boy".
The only addition to Wrights typical hate spew is his new accusation that Obama is only saying these things BECAUSE he is a politician. I think this was a mistake in Obama and Wright's plan, (among Wright's other attributes, he isn't very smart) remember, just because Wright said it doesn't make it not true.
Obama sure is Artificially Outraged, this time around, at the same hate spew that he saw as was sort of infantile and harmless a few days ago. (And for the last 20 years)
